A quiet wooden house between lake and mountains

Chalet Mirnockblick is our own chalet for six at the DualResorts park in Afritz am See, a short walk from the Afritzer See.

In summer the lake is a ten-minute stroll from the door. In winter the sauna is warm and four ski areas wait within a short drive.

Built from larch, stone and calm

The chalet sits in a small, quiet holiday park in the Gegendtal valley, surrounded by the wooded slopes of the Nockberge.

Inside, warm timber walls and large windows carry the landscape through the whole house: an open kitchen and dining room on the ground floor, three bedrooms for up to six guests, and a private sauna for slow evenings after a day on the trails or the slopes.

The house is owned and cared for by one family, not by an anonymous chain. We look after it ourselves and leave the letting to DualResorts. We look forward to handing you the keys ourselves and sharing our favourite spots around the valley.

How many people can sleep in the chalet?

Six, in three bedrooms: two doubles of 180 × 200 cm upstairs and a ground-floor room with a 160 × 200 cm sofa bed and its own smart TV.

Can we bring our dog?

Up to two pets are welcome. The garden is open and not fenced, and the whole house is non-smoking.

How far is the lake really?

The Afritzer See, its public bathing area and the 4.6 km Slow Trail are a short walk from the park; the lake reaches about 26 °C in high summer.

Where do we ski?

Gerlitzen (13 km) and Bad Kleinkirchheim (15 km) are the closest areas; Heidialm and Turracher Höhe are within 40 km. The house has ski storage with outside access and boot warmers.

Can we charge an electric car?

No. Charging at the house is not possible and not permitted; there is one private parking space for a regular car.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, free Wi-Fi throughout the house, plus a dining table for six that doubles happily as a workspace with a valley view.

How do we book?

Can we come without a car?

Puch bei Villach station is 17 km away, but the valley is easiest with a car, especially for ski days and the larger lakes.
